Below is an overview of what we are seeking to put on the Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF). This is in additional to both the Green Ambassador and Retrofit programmes that we have in place.
Emergency First Aid and Safeguarding
Manual handling relevant to the sector (examples: helping people with different disabilities and loading wheelchairs into the vehicle)
Individual roles and responsibilities for drivers.
Understanding mental health of an individual that may be needed to be addressed whilst in transit with a passenger.
Understanding self-employment status as most drivers are such.
Understanding of H&S and food hygiene in the sector.
Understand good customer services and why it is of importance to work well with others within your working environment.
Understand your rights and responsibilities when working in the hospitality sector.
Understand the principles of cleaning in the hospitality sector.
Introduction to course and content. Understanding of COSHH (Control of Substances Harmful to Health).
Understanding the principles of working at height whilst carrying out cleaning processes such as cleaning light fitments. Learners to also undertake a SVC (short vocational course) in Health and Safety in the Workplace.
Understanding the principles of Manual Handling related to cleaning processes. This is followed by a SVC in Emergency First Aid at Work.
Explore the different resources and techniques used in both the Domestic and Commercial cleaning sectors.
Understand the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984.
Understand Police custody procedures.
Understand the day-to-day operations of a Police custody suite.
Identify and understand risks within a Police custody suite.
Understand the PEACE model.
Understand emotional intelligence and mental health of individuals who are detained in a Police custody suite.
Current Courses Being Delivered by the Partnership

Demolition Operative, Street Lighting, Traffic Management, Groundworks, Flatroofing
Modular Housing, Wndow & Door Installer, Data Cabling and Pipe Laying.
Note - These courses include other tickets as well and also a drugs and alcohol test , covid and mental health awareness as part of the pre induction training that must be taken first.
This Level 1 Award Health and Safety qualification is aimed at learners who currently work, or want to work, in construction.
Successful completion will enable you to move on to take the CITB health, safety and environment test, and then apply for the new Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) Green Card.
Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF) , 5 Day delivery inc Micro Teach (Classroom Based) or Onsite assesment route if required (Blended Learning)
Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement
Distance and Blended learning available , 15 Credits from 3 Mandatory Units
5 days for SMSTS & 2 days for refresher.

Awarding Body Endorsed provision that meet Employer, and Individual, requirements and needs. These courses have a "broad church" with regard profile and address multiple deliberations within the Construction Industry as well as such areas as the Fitness and well-being sector.
